» » » Samini & Sarkodie perform 'Love Rocks' for the 1st time at Saminifest 2014


The maiden Saminifest event that seeks to bring together music lovers especially Samini fans all over the country to celebrate the amazing works and also showcase class act performance from leading Ghanaian artist was climaxed with a mind blowing concert at the La Trade Fair Center on the 6th of December, 2014.

The festival commenced with an Industry workshop on financial planning on the 3rd of December, followed by a photo and video exhibition on the 4th of December and African market day, food and pre party on the 5th of December.

Fast forward to Saturday, Samini enthusiast, lovers of Ghanaian music and the general public turned up in their numbers to watch and enjoy the concert.

The show officially started at 9:30pm, with performances from the past and present artistes including Noble Nketia, Andy of Mentor fame, Koo Ntakra, Kofi Kinaata and Naterial past winner of the MTN hitmaker show, dancehall empress AK Songstress, Stonebwoy, VVIP, 4X4, Epiosde, Kokoveli, Tinny, Kaakie, Yaa Pono and many more to support the friend and brother.

The night was over charged as two of the most influential artist Sarkodie and Samini performed for the very first time their new and foremost single “Love Rocks”.

The performance from the two artist, which was much anticipated came to reality at the Saminifest concert and this is to wipe off and clear every insinuations of beef between this two acts.

Samini finally thanked all his fans who have supported the High Grade family from its inception, artistes who came to support the concert, past and present musicians such as Kaakie, Stonebwoy and Kofi Kinata who were all nurtured by the High Grade family, media, reporters, journalists and the general public
