The fourth edition of Kumawood & Akoben Film Festival Awards will
be launched this Saturday, October 11 at the Golden Tulip Hotel in
Kumasi. The launch of the 2014 edition of the awards organised to award
indigenous films will witness a colourful launch amidst performance from
Frank Mensah Pozo and Okmfo Kwadee, organisers say.
The launch of Kumawood & Akoben Film Festival Awards on Saturday
will be attended by actors and actresses, industry players and the
media. Samdackus Initiative, organisers of the awards opened entries for
nominations to be filed for this year’s awards on September 26.
The main event is slated for Saturday, December 27 in Kumasi
