Charterhouse, organizers of the Ghana Music Awards is reported to have sued Charles Armah Mensah Jnr who happens to be the reigning Ghana Music Award artiste of the year,. Charter House is claiming damages up to the tune of 10 million Ghana cedis, for defamation. The artist, is to be served with a writ ahead of an October 20 court appearance, according to leaked
documents online. A letter dated October 2, 2014, from the Plantiff’s
lawyers, Faibille & Faibille, have prayed an Accra court to inter
alia award damages over some videos he posted online days ago, which
largely sought to ridicule the company and it’s Director, Iyiola Ayoade.
