Evangelist Madam Comfort Boateng is the
Chief Executive Director of Emmanuel Maternity Home at Obuasi. Inspired
into midwifery after an incidence which left a pair of scissors in her
womb after a ceaserian section. She vowed to contribute her quota in
this direction.
An ordained minister of God who gave her life to Christ in 1985 has since been a member of The Presbyterian Church. She has been a Presbyter on four occassions and is now stationed at Jimiso in the Ashanti Region.
Madam Comfort Boateng born in 1949 started her elemntary school in 1954 at Nsuta Kwamang Presbyterian Primary and Middle school which happens to be in her hometown. She continued to to Phillips Commercial School in Kumasi where she obtained diploma in secretarial studies.
In 1973 enrolled at the Hohoe School of Midwifery in the Volta Region and obtained her mdwifery certificate in 1975.
Her dirst posting was at the Tamale Government Hospital in the Northern Region of Ghana and then transfered again to Salaga in the same region. She was then again transfered to AGA Hospital at Obuasi in 1980 and finally to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) from 1982 to 1990 where she resigned to establish Emmanuel Maternity Hospital.CALL +233 24 613 9076
